The Bandits Baseball Club Hall of Fame

The Hall of Fame honours Bandits players who have made a significant and on going contribution as players to the club.

In addition to the above criteria the following may be used where a nominee has not met the above ‘minimum automatic qualifying criteria’:

  • Australian senior team member (eg Olympic; World Baseball Classic; Provincial Cup etc)
  • Other significant playing achievements eg multiple ACT Baseball Association MVP awards, multiple Club MVP or other significant awards etc
  • Accepted into the ACT Baseball Association Players Hall of Fame

Note: Playing ‘awards’ alone are not significant enough for nomination into Hall of Fame

    • the nominee has met the criteria as listed above
    • the nominee is at least 35 years old
    • the nominee receives a majority of the eligible votes
    • the nominee accepts the nomination
  • No more than two Hall of Fame nominations may be considered at any Annual General Meeting, and where more than two (2) nominations are received the Club Executive and/or Committee will determine by ballot those two (2) persons to be nominated as a Hall of Fame nominee.
  • Persons who were nominated, but not accepted into the Hall of Fame, may continue to be nominated in future years.
