Working Bee Tasks

Hi All,

Reminder we have our Working Bee this Sunday from 9am.

Below is all the tasks that need to be done:

Batting Cage (Stage 1):
- String up nets.
- Clear out all rubbish into trailers for removal.
- Move all equipment (L-screens, chairs etc) into new shipping container for storage.
- Rip up old floor covering and throw into trailers for removal.
- Bobcat out cage floor (current floor base once removed to be put into visitors dugout).
- Form up for concrete pour.
- Hats and rio to be installed if available.

Home Dugout:
- Dig out old floor (move to visitors dugout).
- Form up for concrete pour.
- Hats and rio to be installed if available.
- Fix roof issue against fence when raining

Mound Rebuild:
- Scrape back.
- String up current plate level.
- Remove pitching plate.
- Install new pitching plate (check all measurements to home plate etc).
- Install new bricks.
- De-weed.
- Complete top surface.
- Edge around mound to correct distance.
- Pack.
- Water.

Batters Box Rebuild:
- Scrape back left and right batters box and catchers/ump box).
- Install new bricks.
- Complete top surface.
- De-weed.
- Edge around cutout.
- Top up dirt and level (if required).
- Whacker-packer.
- Water.

Fencing:
- Clean out all post holes for home run fence.
- Reinstall conveyor belt track around base of backstop fence.
- Install new post hole tubes down first and third foul lines from dugouts (to stop over-throws – distance).

Cutouts:
- De-weed all cutouts.
- Edge around all cutouts.
- Top up dirt and level.
- Whacker-packer.
- Water.

Bullpen:
- Fix chicken wire to posts behind bullpen.
- De-weed bullpen.
- Top up dirt and level.
- Whacker-packer.
- Water.

Visitors Dugout:
- Dump in new floor base.
- Level.
- Whacker-packer.
- Water.

Painting:
- Paint over all unwanted graffiti.
- Paint old container.

Electrical:
- Install new alarm.

As you can see there’s plenty to do which is why it’s vital we get as many as possible down to help.
