Our Senior Presentation night is fast approaching and on that evening (14 April) the club presents three Club awards, which are nominated by you, our members.

The committee asks that you read the purpose of each award (outlined below) and if you would like to nominate someone, please email your nominations to secretary@actbandits.com.au

1. Club Person Award – This award is voted on by all members present at the end of season senior presentation dinner. This award recognises exceptional effort in assisting the smooth running of the Club. The recipient of this award may be recognised for a large range of things they do across the Club, or for one major item or role they have within the Club, or indeed for taking on various roles or perhaps just for helping out where they can.

2. Sainsbury Memorial Award – This award is presented in memory of George Sainsbury. Presented usually to a senior player (not the parent of a junior) who is working or assisting with the junior side of the club. The key point being someone who is contributing to juniors and who does not have a particular vested interest.

3. Walford Memorial Award – This award is presented in memory of Frank Walford and is a “Clubman” type award. The recipient of this award is generally a person working behind the scenes, often unseen or not high profile. The award recognises outstanding contribution to the running of the club or activity. This award may be given to an individual who has done great work for the Club, or to a group of people who may have undertaken a large amount of work or special projects/events for the Club.
