Dear Members,

Our Senior Presentation Night is fast approaching. As part of the evening on 11 April, the Club will present some special awards, with nominations submitted by our members.

The Committee invites you to review the purpose of each award outlined below. If you would like to nominate a deserving individual or group, please email your nomination to secretary@actbandits.com.au

Club Person Award
This award is voted on by members present at the end-of-season Senior Presentation Dinner. It recognises exceptional effort in supporting the smooth operation of the Club. Recipients may be acknowledged for a broad range of contributions across the Club, for taking on a significant role, for leading a major initiative, or for consistently stepping in to assist wherever needed.

Sainsbury Memorial Award
Presented in memory of George Sainsbury, this award is typically given to a senior player (not the parent of a junior player) who contributes to the junior side of the Club. The award recognises individuals who support and develop junior players without having a direct personal interest.

Walford Memorial Award – This award is presented in memory of Frank Walford and is a “Clubman” type award. The recipient of this award is generally a person working behind the scenes, often unseen or not high profile. The award recognises outstanding contribution to the running of the club or activity. This award may be given to an individual who has done great work for the Club, or to a group of people who may have undertaken a large amount of work or special projects/events for the Club.
